So, What's Next?

It's a good day to be alive!

I will be honest... I haven't done much Professional Time Wasting since the last couple weeks. If anything, the week directly after (and even a little bit of this week) have been slightly busy. Now I'm not going to then say that's all bad (because no, it isn't, come on) but it means I'm not letting myself have that time I was talking about before things pick back up again.

But... I do know this: there are things I need to do, and also that I want to do, over the summer. I can focus on what's needed first, and then on what's wanted in the meantime.

I know that part of what I've always wanted to do was spruce up this ol' place, and put some games together... but if it's what I want to do, why might it only be fun sometimes? That doesn't really add up for me, you know? Hobbies and pasttimes are supposed to be fun and engaging!

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it takes energy and, well, we're not exactly incentivized to use our energy that much -- especially not with tHeSe DaRn PhOnEs and all that. I hope it's not a serious sign of depression, where you just lose interest in everything you could be doing.

...Still, I can worry about that later. For now, I need but to worry about what I need to do -- like taxes next year. Or, better yet in my context: reconning on what exactly was going on this academic year so the next one doesn't swamp me out.
