A Even Prime

...Is it me or does something feel off about this week?

...I can't tell what, though. Oh well. Heya~! Welcome back! I hope you all are doing well.

Now with all assumptions in place that this audience is at least somewhat like me, I'm assuming you've watched Battle for Dream Island -- particularly The Power of Two, which has been making its rounds in theaters.

I leave no spoilers for the latest episodes, so don't worry about that if you've yet to watch.

Honestly, the fact that something like TPOT is making it into theaters at all is... bizarre, to say the least. People are paying to watch free videos in the context of a cinema. And yes, I know, it's happened before, many of BFDI's episodes have released as part of premieres, but that's different. Usually those premieres also have the creators, some kind of talking section, trinkets, the like! Cinemas don't do that, especially not for something that'll be on YouTube not long after.

And yet it continues to sell. People want that experience. I can only assume the crowds there aren't as chaotic now as they were when the show first hit screens. There's likely also a social aspect to that demand too, to know that others also find it interesting and worth watching.

From the looks of it, some of those aspects translate to other shows as well. Inanimate Insanity had an episode of its fourth season in theaters for its 15th anniversary. The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act is also going to many theaters (and more if people keep asking, which is already still insane that they are) and is going to screen within the next few weeSTARTING FOURTH OF JUNE?? Okay, much further than I thought, but still.

I'm not sure how far this kind of scheduling system will go, but evidently it's had a large impact -- and will likely continue for longer.

In the meantime? We still have our lives to get to, I suppose. See you next week, yeah?
